All our guided tours are led by our “Archaeologist-Guides”—experts deeply involved in the scientific and educational project of Els Estinclells de Verdú. Each guide possesses the specialized training required to provide an engaging and informative experience for every type of visitor.
1st Experience, Guided tour
Discover the Past. Explore what an Ilergetian fortified settlement from the Iberian period was really like and immerse yourself in the Protohistory Experimentation Field, with expert insights from our site archaeologists.
2nd Experience, Iberian architecture workshop
Master Ancient Techniques. An introduction to traditional construction methods. Participants will prepare authentic adobes (mudbricks) and learn the ancestral mud-building techniques used to construct Iberian homes.

3rd Experience, Pottery workshop
Crafting Tradition. Drawing on Verdú’s rich pottery heritage, we offer the unique opportunity to participate in a hands-on workshop alongside local artisans.

Ceràmica Sambola
A family-run workshop specializing in traditional black pottery from Verdú, including the iconic “silló” (water jug). They also craft custom pieces such as murals and commemorative items. Available for groups of 15–20 people.

Taller Obert
Taller Obert offers innovative and interdisciplinary educational activities that allow visitors to learn about ceramics while exploring their creative side. As part of the Pottery Workshop package, this workshop offers the activity “Artisan for a Day”.
The two-hour session unfolds in three parts: a historical introduction to traditional black pottery, a pottery wheel demonstration, and the chance to create your own clay piece. Available for groups of up to 50 people.

4th Experience, Winery activities
Verdú is part of the prestigious Costers del Segre Designation of Origin. We collaborate with local producers to offer immersive wine tastings and tours of vineyards and facilities led by professional oenologists.

Celler Cercavins produces wines rooted in local tradition and offers visitors the chance to learn about their winemaking process, as well as the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting.

Celler Carviresa
This winery specializes in Costers del Segre wines and offers a wide selection of varieties. It provides the possibility of wine tastings for groups of 10 to 15 people.

Celler Boldú viticultor
Boldú Viticultors is a family-run winery located at La Finca Ventallola. The winery features a design that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape and offers guided tours of its vineyards and facilities, along with a wine tasting.

5th Experience, Visit to Verdú Castle
Verdú Castle is one of the town’s most emblematic buildings, and it was around it that the streets and squares that now form the village of Verdú first began to develop.
In 1988, the Verdú City Council purchased part of the Castle and carried out various maintenance and restoration works on the Keep (Torre del Homenaje). At the end of 2004, major restoration works began, allowing for the rehabilitation and structural consolidation of the building. In October 2014, the Castle finally reopened and is now fully accessible to visitors.

6th Experience, Visit to the Ramon Boleda Archaeological Museum
The exhibition showcases the most remarkable archaeological pieces that Boleda discovered over the years in various sites within the district, in other municipalities of Urgell, and in neighbouring regions. Boleda was a man deeply connected to the land.
Among all the sites catalogued by Boleda, three stand out: Molino de la Alhucema, Pla de les Tenalles, and Els Estinclells in Verdú.
