Who we are
Estinclellsdifusio is a group of archaeologists dedicated to promoting the knowledge and dissemination of the Els Estinclells Archaeological Complex (Verdú). Established as a non-profit association, its mission is to carry out activities aimed at the outreach and preservation of the Els Estinclells Archaeological Complex.
To achieve these objectives, the association carries out the following activities:
- Promoting, supporting, and encouraging all initiatives aimed at the study, research, and dissemination of archaeological heritage.
- Collaborating with institutions across the Urgell region (particularly museums, archives, foundations, and educational centers) as well as with Catalan public institutions and private entities.
- Fostering communication and cultural exchange with organizations pursuing similar or related goals in neighboring regions, throughout Catalonia, across the country, and internationally.
- Encouraging the protection of heritage by disseminating knowledge of its historical, ecological, and documentary value; promoting its restoration or conservation; and recording, inventorying, and cataloguing all elements that form part of this heritage, in accordance with current regulations and the guidelines issued by the competent authorities.
